OUR STORY
We are Jenny, Kenny, Lily and Leo Grouf. Jenny and Kenny met in 1999 while living in San Francisco as young adults. Jenny’s father coined us “the Ennys” to be more efficient when speaking of us as a pair.
We have been “the Ennys” ever since.
Twenty-one years later, after much adventure and the arrivals of our children – Lily and Leo - we landed in Geyserville, CA in Northern Sonoma County. We were incredibly fortunate to take over a small, established olive orchard, which has been full of joy, community and learning not to mention a healthy, delicious olive oil.
Our olive oil is a product of our family’s efforts as well as a loving community of family and friends from around the Bay Area and across the country.
Enny olive oil is not just any oil. It is truly nurtured, harvested and milled with love. We hope that you enjoy it – from our family to yours.
OUR OLIVE OIL
Our olives are grown organically and harvested in early November each year. They are then cold-pressed into oil within hours of being picked. Olivino, a mill in Hopland, CA, does a beautiful job helping us create a delicious, grassy olive oil with a slightly bitter finish. Bitter is better, we say, as bitterness confirms the high presence of polyphenols, a powerful antioxidant.
